WIND POET
Down - across - circle - lift
Soft the breath on cheek and ear,
Through the locks a flutter a moment
To whence you came and whither you go.
WhHOOOOoooh the pines,saaaaaahhh the wheat
KKEEEeeeee the boulders, Ha - Ha the leaves.
Snap-crack the flag, caress up the feather,
Cease -- and then return to me.
Lost in thought on this sunny hill,
I watched a bee hang on for dear life.
The bird tripped, then recovered her flight
As you slapped at my papers, cuffed hair in my eyes.
I know of your ways and awesome powers
But Im trying to work here,do you mind?
Be balm in cadence, with structured sweet sigh,
Hint of the poetry,the whispered----word-songs.
